• Actor-Inspired Element: For the scene of Lisa riding Matt, Margo Stilley asked Michael Winterbottom to film her from an angle that meant her genitals wouldn't be seen on camera.
• I Am Not Spock: Inverted. Margo Stilley wished to be uncredited in the film, because of the explicit content. And in interviews, she asked to only be called Lisa in interviews by other crew members.
• Method Acting: Margo Stilley and Kieran O'Brien also didn't communicate with each other between filming, so that their real-life relationship wouldn't influence the one on-screen. The former admitted to sometimes getting Lost in Character outside of filming, even when making calls to friends.
• Typecasting: Kieran O'Brien was cast because he had previously appeared nude in Burn It and Virtual Sexuality. He was cast because he was well endowed. He'd later appear in a stage version of The Full Monty, cast as an "absurdly over endowed" guy.
