- Alan Smithee: Notably averted. Alan Moore is credited on the Night Raven: From the Marvel UK Vaults collection, making it one of the very few Marvel or DC projects that still bears his name.
- Executive Meddling: David Lloyd initially left the series after editorial decided that he wasn't a good fit for this style of story. Night Raven then became an inspiration for his next project with Alan Moore, V for Vendetta.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Downplayed. The Night Raven: From the Marvel UK Vaults collection is still available as a digital comic, and contains almost everything. But the House of Cards graphic novel and the Alternate Universe miniseries Nocturne are both out of print, unavailable digitally and only obtainable by tracking down the original copies.
