- Enforced Method Acting: Laurence Harvey, who plays Macy, was being treated for stomach cancer that would unfortunately kill him one year later. He momentarily stopped taking the painkillers he was perscribed to realistically convey the agony Macy was feeling as the earwig ate through his brain.
