• Cross-Dressing Voices: The male Nestor's voice was provided by actress Shelly Hines.
• Prop Recycling: Several figures in the special are reused from prior specials. Rudolph's figurine was created for Rudolph's Shiny New Year, while the Mrs. Claus figure was created for The Year Without a Santa Claus. In addition, Jingle and Jangle, the bumbling elf duo from the latter special, also cameo in the beginning and end.
