• What Could Have Been:
  • Master Ninja III was supposed to be the last episode of Season 6, but changed to this film because Frank Conniff really loved the luchador genre and the Best Brains gang had not riffed on such a film during his tenure on the show (due to how painful The Robot vs. the Aztec Mummy had been for them back in Season 1).^note It is worth mentioning, however that the moment El Santo enters the movie occurs after TV's Frank departs for Second Banana Heaven.
  • Various scenarios were considered for Frank's departure including getting a better offer from Arby's or getting abducted by aliens who looked like tiny versions of Frank and who worshipped him.
