• The Other Darrin: In the Italian dub, Jiro is voiced by Giada Bonanomi since her usual voice actress, Tiziana Martello, was in maternity leave.
• Promoted Fanboy: Brendan Blaber (a.k.a. JelloApocalypse online), the voice actor for Mummy in the dub, is an avid fan of the series, even having covered it on his web series, So This Is Basically..., in one of its most positive episodes.
• What Could Have Been: According to Horikoshi, several elements of the movie were taken from the original plan for the manga's final arc (particularly Midoriya and Bakugo's ending fight against Nine, presumably with either Shigaraki or All For One standing in his place in the manga) but were adapted into this movie.
