- Colbert Bump: While the show is still well known and not so obscure, the series only garnered much more talk to a Western audience when Youtuber Blameitonjorge discussed it in his "Lost Media Iceberg" video.
- Dueling Shows: With Lo que callamos las mujeres. Heck, the show was made because of the success of Mujer.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Because of Televisa's tendencies of never airing shows again (unless it's for monetary reasons...), Mujer was rarely put on DVD. As a result, most of the show is considered lost and most people are able to watch it through Youtube uploads.
- Missing Episode: The above mentioned Blameitonjorge episode did bring up three episodes that are considered lost (although one has been found):
- La Ultima Sonrisa (The Last Smile), which focuses on a girl who has a fear of a supposed werewolf that follows her.
- "Sangre contra dignidad" (Blood Against Dignity), which focuses on a teen who messes with a gypsy woman.
- The found episode "Un angel sin Luz" (An Angel without Light) focuses on a mother who deals with her son being abducted before finding him once more, only for to no longer have eyes since he was put through the underground Mexican organ trade.
- A huge chunk of the episodes from the eighties are considered lost, with the only known footage being musician Lucerito's singing the intro.
