  • Adored by the Network: Of the shows moved over from The Comedy Network, only The Simpsons was treated fairly. During its first year, Much would not only air marathons on occasion but even air themed blocks during the weekdays, such as a Treehouse of Horror block on Halloween. Even after the show began airing on Much, The Comedy Network still aired the show whenever the former network wasn't airing it.
    • Aside from The Simpsons, reruns of The Cleveland Show have been given better treatment than any other comedy Much has been airing.
    • Inverted with South Park. Much went all out to promote the seventeenth season of the show and it's still the only show Much will give heavy promotion to. But off-season, because of the show's content, Much only airs the South Park on weekends, late into the night.
      • Played straight in Fall 2017 when, thanks to the new regulatory rules by the CRTC, Much began airing back-to-back episodes of South Park pre-watershed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
  • Channel Hop: Because of Network Decay, a good number of shows airing on The Comedy Network moved to MuchMusic in Fall 2013, while several shows airing on Much would moved to MTV Canada and M3.
  • Invisible Advertising: Unless it's a popular show like The Simpsons, South Park, or Conan, Much will give little to no promotion for any program they air. Even when Much does a promo spot for one season of a show, they might not bother promoting that show's next season. Almost all of Comedy Central's programming was screwed in some form because of this.
  • Referenced by...: In Turning Red, a logo appears on the In-Universe TV that looks like a Fictional Counterpart version of the logo with a maple leaf in place of the globe and the word "view" instead of "much".
  • Screwed by the Network: Conan was the channel's favorite punching bag after it was moved from The Comedy Network. It started out airing at the same time as TBS at 11pm. Soon after, the show was pushed back to 12am for nothing but reruns. Unlike the Jimmy Fallon-era Late Night and Tonight Show, which has been airing encores at 3pm/4pm since it was moved over from MuchMore in 2013, Conan was only aired once a day. It got even more egregious in Fall 2014, when @Midnight was moved from The Comedy Network and pushed back Conan to 12:30pm. For whatever reason, rather than simply airing an encore of Conan, Much also paired The Tonight Show with an encore of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on weekdays, despite the show already airing on The Comedy Network. In 2017, after Much dropped Fallon, Kimmel, and @Midnight, Conan was finally cut some slack. Not only was Conan now airing on weekdays, but it returned to its regular 11pm timeslot..., at least until it was yet again pushed back to 12am for more reruns. By that Fall, Much dropped Conan altogether.
    • Inverted with season two of TripTank. Aside from the season receiving no promotion whatsoever and held over until October, Much gave TripTank a fair timeslot of Thursdays at 10:30pm EST.
