• Creator's Favorite Episode: Of Traylor Howard (who did not appear in the episode), according to the Monk Cast Favorites Marathon.
• Deleted Scene: The scene of Gavin trying to kill Sykes at the docks is omitted from most airings, creating something of a Plot Hole when Sykes appears to just randomly decide to try killing Gavin in front of a group of police officers the next day. Additionally, the final shot of Monk touching the handrail poles is cut short to him only getting to the twelfth.
