• Stillborn Franchise: Mechanical Violator Hakaider was meant to be a pilot movie for a full tv series premiering a year after the film's release that would have continued the story, but production fell apart for unknown reasons. Concepts for the planned show were adapted into the lightgun game Mechanical Violator Hakaider: The Last Judgement and some were even modified into the show that came out instead, the otherwise unrelated Choukou Senshi Changerion.
