• Colbert Bump: Not being able to use characters from the X-Men or Fantastic Four franchises for the first few years of the game's existence has lead to the release, and exposure, of other significantly more obscure heroes- Elsa Bloodstone, Amadeus Cho, Lincoln Campbell, Warwolf and more are playable in this game.
• Delayed Release Tie-In: Black Widow wound up pushed forward from its April 2020 by the COVID-19 Pandemic, yet Future Fight still had Yelena Belova and Red Guardian coming out that month.
• Meaningful Release Date: The update that added the werewolf character Warwolf, the professional monster hunter Elsa Bloodstone, and the demonic looking serial killer Lash to the game was tied to Halloween, complete with Ghost Rider and Blade costumes and special missions to tie into the holiday.
