• Fake Nationality: Out of all the Mongolian main and supporting cast, only two characters are actually played by Mongolian actors; Baljinnyamyn Amarsaikhan, who plays Ariq, Kublai's brother, and Rick Yune as Kaidu, who has mixed Mongolian, Chinese and Korean descent. The rest are played by actors of Chinese, Malaysian, Korean and Polynesian descent.
