• Creator Couple: Yootha Joyce's ex-husband Glynn Edwards appeared in "The Tender Trap" and "Another Bride, Another Groom" as Mr. Plummer, Chrissy's father.
• Recast as a Regular: Norman Eshley played Ian Cross, a One-Shot Character from Series 2's "In Praise of Older Men", who tried to have an affair with Chrissy. Much later, in Series 6, Eshley was cast as Norman Tripp, Robin's brother from the final three episodes of the series. Eshley would become even more of a regular in MAtH's Spin-Off, George & Mildred, where he was cast as the Roper's snobbish neighbour Jeffrey Fourmile, who was a main character.
