- Channel Hop: Most of his releases, including Adventure, Shelter and Good Faith, came out through the major label Columbia Records, but he transitioned over to self-releasing in 2020 with the Celine EP, the remix of "No Fear No More" with EARTHGANG, and "The Prince." He linked up wth Mom + Pop Music two years later starting with "Love You Back," placing him on the same roster as his collaborator and friend Porter Robinson for the first time.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Outside of its initial 200 vinyl run, the Celine EP hasn't seen any sort of official release, meaning the only way to own it is through ripped copies made by the few people who own the record. Hugo, for his part, is fully aware of these vinyl rips and has no problem with them.
