- Billing Displacement: Marilyn Monroe has exactly one scene lasting maybe a minute or two, with one line of dialogue. It is hard to find a poster for the movie which doesn't give the impression she was one of the stars of the movie.
- Creator Backlash:
- At the end of his March 8, 1950 radio episode of You Bet Your Life, Groucho halfheartedly mentioned the film as "Harpo, Chico, and I tell a few jokes and do some acting. It's very educational." Groucho avoided mentioning the film in his 1959 autobiography Groucho and Me, and considered A Night In Casablanca the Marxes' last film together, dismissing Love Happy as "a terrible movie" when he was a guest on The Today Show, mentioning it in his 1976 book The Groucho Phile: An Illustrated Life, about one year before his death.
- Harpo's autobiography Harpo Speaks! doesn't mention the film at all.
- The Danza: Harpo's character's name in this movie is Harpo.
- Harpo Does Something Funny: The entire movie might be this. Harpo even gets story credit.
- Referenced by...: Clips are included in RATT's "You're In Love" video, including the famous scene with Groucho and Marilyn Monroe.
- The Shelf of Movie Languishment: It was filmed in the summer of 1948, but didn't premiere until October 1949, and didn't get a wide release until March of 1950.
