• Shown Their Work: Taegukgi, the flag of South Korea, is shown among the flags of nations participating at the Chicago World's Fair emblazoned on the entrance gate. It seems improbable since South Korea did not yet exist and the Korean Kingdom had only recently opened itself to the Western World at this time. But Korea was in fact one of the participants at Chicago World's Fair, complete with Taegukgi, which was just adopted as the national flag at this time, although the design was slightly different from the modern version that appears in the show.
