- Breakaway Pop Hit: "A Little Less Conversation" was released as a single alongside the film in 1968, but didn't do much business at the time, only peaking at #69 in Billboard. He'd recorded a separate version for possible use in the Elvis (NBC TV Special), but it was never used. Then in 2002, Junkie XL did a remix of the TV special version that became a big worldwide hit, was used as the theme for the NBC series Las Vegas, and made the song possibly the best-known Elvis song among younger generations.
