• Better Export for You: The initial international CD release adds "The Lady Don't Mind (Extended Mix)" to the end of the album as a bonus track.
• Follow the Leader: Peter Gabriel saw the video for "Road to Nowhere" and hired its director, Stephen R. Johnson, for his video for "Sledgehammer", which also made innovative use of stop-motion photography (and ended up eclipsing its inspiration's popularity).
• Refitted for Sequel: "Popsicle", an outtake from Speaking in Tongues, was reworked into "Walk It Down" on the album.
