- Breakup Breakout: Not quite to the extent of Joan Jett, but she made quite a name for herself as a Hair Metal musician in the 1980s.
- Creator Backlash:
- She's disowned Wicked Wonderland, claiming that it was mostly her then-husbands music that she just sang over, and that she considers Living Like a Runaway, which came out three years after, the "real" returning album. When she launched her official site two years later she didn't even list it in her discography section.
- Arguably a similar situation with Black, another album heavily collab’d with Gillette. She hasn't played any of the songs from it live in her solo act, though she still considers it part of her work.
- Two-Hit Wonder: She had two massive hits, the #12 "Kiss Me Deadly" and the #8 "Close My Eyes Forever" with Ozzy Osbourne (who is incidentally one going by top 40 hits between the latter and "Mama I'm Coming Home").
