* AbsenteeActor:
** Pleakley appeared in every episode except for "Morpholomew", the crossover episode with WesternAnimation/AmericanDragonJakeLong.
** Gantu was absent for ten episodes, five for each season.
** Nani, who had a reduced role anyway, was absent for twenty-two episodes (fourteen in season one, eight in season two).
* ActorAllusion: In one episode Pleakley claims he and Jumba are "Canadians from Canadia." Kevin [=McDonald=] is Canadian.
* CrossDressingVoice:
** Creator/TressMacNeille, Creator/TaraStrong, Dionne Quan, Creator/NancyCartwright and Creator/FrankWelker for several experiments.
** Series/TheKidsInTheHall cast members Scott Thompson and Bruce [=McCulloch=] voice Pleakley's mother and sister Pixley, respectively.
* ExecutiveMeddling:
%%** Producers hated Angel and didn't want her to appear again. After finding out about her popularity among fans, they relented.
%%The above line has been hidden due to found contradictory information (Jess "jesstifer" Winfield actually likes the character). Please see this link for more information: http://lasfansite.atspace.me/stuff/history/tvtome/page01.html
** %On the other hand,% Keoni Jameson was mandated by Disney execs as an audience avatar, and the writers hated him for it.
** The show was originally conceived as an action-adventure series with a similarly sombre tone as the film, but Creator/DisneyChannel wanted something LighterAndSofter.
* FanNickname:
** 627 is given the name "Evile" by fans and wikis due to "evil" being the only word he said, at least initially. That being said, he was never named by anyone in the franchise proper.
** On the flip side, Leroy from WesternAnimation/LeroyAndStitch is also called Experiment 629 by fans and wikis. Although some commercials that aired before his debut and some Japanese merchandise number him 628, there was already an Experiment 628 as seen in pod form at the end of 627's episode. 628 was never activated, and Leroy was never officially numbered by Jumba. (Jumba tried to number him 627, but Gantu reminded him that he already made Experiment 627.)
* MissingEpisode: The crossover episode with WesternAnimation/Recess never aired on Disney Channel, possibly because the network was worried that the kids that were into Lilo & Stitch would have no idea what Recess is.
* NoExportForYou[=/=]KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The Series has been fully released on DVD, but only in Japan. Some episodes were also released on DVD in other regions, but not in full, and there has never been a Region 1 (United States and Canada) DVD release of The Series. In those two countries, "Mr. Stenchy" and "Clip" were released on a DVD game called Lilo & Stitch's Island of Adventures, and "Link" was a bonus feature on the WesternAnimation/LeroyAndStitch DVD. All four Disney/LiloAndStitch films are on digital distribution services, while Creator/Netflix has all three sequel films,The original Lilo & Stitch film was removed from the service on September 9, 2016. but The Series has never been made legally available for home video in its entirety in the West. There will be a lot of missing context if one were to watch both WesternAnimation/StitchTheMovie and Leroy & Stitch without ever having seen The Series.
* TalkingToHimself: Lots of them, including Creator/JeffBennett, Creator/NancyCartwright, Music/GreyDeLisle, Creator/TressMacNeille, Creator/RobPaulsen, Creator/ChrisSanders, Creator/TaraStrong and Creator/FrankWelker.
** Lilo and Victoria, though only in the latter's first appearance.
** Both Mrs. Edmonds and Aunt Stacy are voiced by Creator/AprilWinchell.
* TechnologyMarchesOn: In "Houdini", Lilo tells Mertle to set her VCR (likely for recording the planned special for Stitch's magic act), a device which was already in decline at the time and would become completely obsolete in just a few years.In fact, the year the episode aired (2003), DVD rentals exceeded VHS rentals in the United States for the first time.
* TheOtherDarrin:
** In one episode, Creator/KevinMichaelRichardson voiced Cobra Bubbles. Creator/VingRhames does voice the character though, but it's unknown which episodes.
** Creator/DeeBradleyBaker replaced Jason Scott Lee as the voice of David in The Series.
** In her first appearance, Victoria is voiced by Creator/DaveighChase, which lead to TalkingToHerself with Lilo, and in her second appearance, Alyson Stoner voiced her.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Precious (Experiment 400) was meant to have her own episode as a parody of Literature/TheLordOfTheRings where she would be thrown into an active volcano where the extreme heat from the lava would defeat her but alas, the idea was scrapped due to copyrights. Now why they couldn't use Yang for a lava source is beyond anybody's guess.
