- What Could Have Been: Originally, Bugs was supposed to watch Sam and his planet's demise on television and decide to switch over to the classic sitcom, I Love Lucy. For whatever reason, Freleng decided to change it to Amos and Andy, which ending up dating the joke due to Production Lead Time, as Amos and Andy was canceled one month before this was released to theaters.
