• Acting for Two: Jade Tusk, the intense and serious leader of Poison Clan, and Huifang, the goofy member of the Clan who she keeps telling to shut up, are both voiced by Cherise Boothe.
• Children Voicing Children: The four panda kids that Po trains are all voiced by actors who are at least younger than 18.
• The Other Darrin:
  • Chrissy Metz fills in for Kate Hudson as Mei Mei.
  • Christopher Swindle fills in for Bryan Cranston (and to an extent, Fred Tatasciore) as Li. Shan
  • Piotr Michael replaces Randall Duk Kim as Grand Master Oogway.
• Role Reprise: Mick Wingert reprises his role as Po from Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, alongside franchise regular James Hong as Mister Ping.
