- Also, one of Kirby’s friends in the underground art group is the bug villainess Max once dated.
- What Could Have Been: According to Dean Julian, Disney didn't want Macho-Taco to sound Hispanic despite being a taco in Mexican wrestling gear for cultural reasons. This played perfectly for Julian as his Randy Savage imitation audition for the character led him to be cast.
- The episode “Attack of the Killer P.U.P.P.I.E.S.” shows a rare disease called P.U.P.P.I.E.S. that isn’t nearly as cute as the name implies. While the disease is purely fictional, it may be a reference to a real disease known as P.A.N.D.A.S., a rare autoimmune disorder that is extremely dangerous despite the name.
