- Colbert Bump: The success of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls has creating a bump in popularity for the games from players curious to see the spiritual precursor to the games.
- Fan Translation: A few. The Sword of Moonlight community has translated the Sword of Moonlight: King's Field Making Tool program for English-speakers to use. The original PSX version and the SoM remake of the first King's Field game and Shadow Tower Abyss have English fan translations for them.
- No Export for You: The first King's Field game, two PSP games and three mobile King's Field games were never localized for the West. Shadow Tower Abyss, on the other hand, was set to have a Western release. But Sony ended up axing it due to a combination of projected sales outside of Japan and the graphics when compared to other RPGs and first person games of the time.
