* TroubledProduction: The show's severe decline and current status as the BlackSheep of the Neo-Heisei era can mostly be pinned on this. ExecutiveMeddling diverted the budget from this series to production of ''Series/KamenRiderAmazons''. In addition, the series head writer Takuro Fukuda would regularly be absent within the construction of the series, leaving Keiichi Hasegawa (And to a lesser extent Noubhiro Mouri) left to pick up the pieces and try and introduce character arcs and lore… which would only end up being contradicted when Fukuda would return… solely to write filler episodes until the series reached its climax. Coupled with the show's pacing issues and arbitrary plot points introduced and then forgotten which were caused by mandates to meet each movie event deadline, several scenes required to understand the ongoing storyline and character development were left on the cutting room floor, only to be recollected into the ''Legend of Hero Alain'' home video minisodes.

In ''Ghost Re:Birth: Kamen Rider Specter'', Specter gains access to Sin Specter, a retool of Ghost Mugen Damashii with Specters horns. The Sin Specter Eyecon is a retool of the Mugen Eyecon.

* FanNickname:
** From the moment the world saw the suit, he was doomed to be known as Kamen Rider ComicBook/{{Deadpool}}.
** Ghost's default form is a mostly black short-sleeved hoodie, with his alternate forms being different-colored short-sleeved hoodies (including a red one that allows him to dual-wield swords) have naturally garnered him the nickname "Kamen Rider [[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsII Sora]]".
** A decent amount of fans started to refer to the Robin Damashii as the Series/{{Arrow}} Damashii.
** Keeping in tradition with superhero fan names, they begin calling Edison Damashii the [[Film/AntMan1 Yellow Jacket Damashii]], due to the light bulb pattern on the face plate resembling that of a yellow jacket's face.
** The fact that the forms for this season are based on deceased historical figures has earned the nickname "Kamen Rider: Manga/ShamanKing." One of the forms is even a famous Samurai. And now, one of them is a Shaman ''Queen''.
** The talking Eyecon [[spoiler:that may be Specter's dead sister.]] With the existence of an Ore Eyecon, some fans have taken to naming it the LightNovel/OreImo Eyecon.
** Necrom's color scheme and brace henshin device has people labeling him Kamen Rider Franchise/{{Ben 10}}.
*** [[spoiler:The nickname becomes more fitting when it turns out that Necrom has a time limit for his transformation as well. Except he has the option of recharging his transformation by absorbing Ganma Commandos.]]
