- Anime First: Kado does have a manga and novel adaptation and a spinoff, but the anime came out first and foremost.
- Executive Meddling: Was this series ever meddled with. See What Could Have Been.
- God Never Said That: There is a persistent rumor among the fandom that Word of God stated somewhere that Shindo and zaShunina were supposed to be the Official Couple, and even that Yukika was going to be their child. This is most likely two parts wishful thinking and one part extrapolation from all the What Could Have Been; Saraka wasn't in the first draft of the series at all, zaShunina's beloved origami bookmark is a seahorse, and Shindo's mother's curiosity about whether anisotorons have families came off like Foreshadowing for something cut. No official sources have been reported to confirm this.
- Word of Saint Paul: Shindo's and zaShunina's seiyuu Hiroaki Miura and Takuma Terashima stated that Shindo and zaShunina are not dead as we understand it, and will someday reunite in a place beyond information.
- What Could Have Been:
- The series was set to be a movie, and then rewritten to be a 24 episode series. Tsukai and her character arc also would have gotten more expansion instead of condensing it into episode 11, but originally she wasn't supposed to be in the plot at all.
- That’s not even scratching the surface.
