** Averted for Creator/ShowHayami, who reprises his role as Vanilla Ice from the anime adaptation, but does not play the character he previously voiced in ''All Star Battle'', Enrico Pucci. The voice of Pucci [[TheOtherDarrin was replaced]] by Creator/JojiNakata.
** An exaggerated version of this trope has Creator/TakehitoKoyasu voicing Dio Brando, DIO, Diego, Diego from Another Universe ''and'' the game's original incarnation of Dio, meaning you can have a match consisting entirely of characters voiced by him.

* CastingGag: Creator/JojiNakata has had experience playing malevolent priests before - in particular, as [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight Kirei Kotomine]]. This is also not the first time when Creator/DaisukeOno and Creator/MiyukiSawashiro have voiced a father and daughter as they previously voiced Mamoru and Miyuki Akasaka in VisualNovel/HigurashiWhenTheyCry
* CrossDressingVoices: Unlike anime, several characters such as Koichi and Narancia are voiced by a female, leading to a more high-pitched voice compared to their anime counterparts. They, like almost all the Part 4 and 5 characters, have been recasted in the anime. In Koichi's and Narancia's case, Creator/RomiPark and Creator/YukoSanpei were replaced by Creator/YuukiKaji and Creator/DaikiYamashita respectively

* AuthorsSavingThrow: The developers said that there will be no paid DLC or Microtransactions, presumably in response to criticisms about those in [[VideoGame/JojosBizarreAdventureAllStarBattle the previous game]]. There will still be DLC, such as part 4 Jotaro, but you won't necessarily have to pay for it, as part 4 Jotaro is a day 1 bonus.

** Datamined dialogue reveals part 6 Jotaro was going to be a playable character at some point in development. His intro lines are all recorded, complete with all the characters he could of interacted with having responses recorded as well. He was likely planned as DLC, but was removed likely when DLC plans were removed, and/or because he would of been the third Jotaro alt, with very few ways to make him play differently than his other two parts.
