  • Russi Taylor voices Ferny, Ciara (Piggley's daughter), and Elly Winks (Piggley's mother).
  • Tara Strong voices Dannan and Molly.
• Blooper:
  • Occasionally, Sean and Seamus' voices switch, as well as their names. One example is "Dannan Does a Jig".
  • In "All Night Long", when Piggley says, "We love sitting, with nothing to do," he has Ferny's voice.
    • He has Ferny's voice again in the episode "Song of the Banshee" when Ferny's screaming voice clip was used for him.
• Cross-Dressing Voices:

• Fake Irish: The only Irish cast member is Peadar Lamb, who voices Grandpa Piggley.
• Release Date Change: It was supposed to premiere in September 2002, but moved to 2003.
• Screwed by the Lawyers: Originally conceived by Denise Fitzpatrick based on her experiences as a young girl in rural Ireland, the show was originally titled Piggley Pooh, but was issued a cease and desist letter by Disney due to the show sharing the same name as the Winnie the Pooh series. Despite countersuing and having the European Court side with the Fitzpatricks, their lawyer decided that changing the name of the show would be better to avoid future copyright issues. Eventually, this lead to Piggley Pooh becoming Piggley Winks.
• What Could Have Been:
  • According to this article, there was going to be a feature-length movie adaptation; it most likely never came to be.
  • The show was originally going to be animated with cels before switching to CGI.
