Trivia / Jacob the Liar

• Same Language Dub: The actor playing Jacob was Czech, so all of lines dubbed into German. That didn't stop him from winning Best Actor at the Berlin International Film Festival. Several of the other Czech actors were also dubbed.
• You Look Familiar: Armin Mueller-Stahl, who plays Roman, later acted in the American remake as a different character.
