• Approval of God: This FLP recreation of “Found You” drew the attention of Narrow Your Eyes, NormalCD’s voice actor, where they state that they’re rather impressed by how accurate the impersonation of Normal’s voice is in the video.
• Artist Disillusionment: A decent number of the ex-staff who spoke about their experience with working on the mod have openly stated their bitterness towards it. Below are a few notable examples.
  • egophobia, one of the composers of “Breakout”, states that the Encore version of the song, which was planned for a V2.0 update, was made out of spite for the mod due to the circumstances of the mod’s cancellation.
    Good riddance.
  • In this upload of the second version of Curse’s song, Madzilla, the voice of Curse in this version of “Malediction” and creator of Demogri and Griatos, had this to say about voicing him.
    I want nothing to do with Curse lmao
• Content Leak: Following the fallout of this mod’s initial cancellation, multiple devs leaked and released various pieces of it, including an incomplete build and a few unreleased songs, such as a crossover song with Parallax, where Wechidna and Chaotix would have a sing-off. The second and final cancellation revealed more leaked assets such as early cutscenes, planned sprites and some unfinished songs, alongside another cancelled build.
• Prop Recycling: Aside from Duke’s content, “Long Sky”, the “Endless” cover, the background when you face off with Majin, the second half of “Our Horizon”, and the menu assets, everything in this mod pre-revival borrowed from Vs Sonic.exe’s planned content as well as Chotix’s old mod.
• Role-Ending Misdemeanor:
  • Or rather a mod-ending misdemeanor in this case. The higher-ups of this mod’s creation, including averyavary, the director and creator of Duke and Chaotix, and Kenji, the lead artist and Curse’s creator, were essentially kicked out of the EXE community after it was exposed that they were still talking to JesterFrog after she was exposed for being a child groomer, and the two manipulating the dev team into thinking having Jester on the team was okay despite her crimes. In avery’s case, he had rejoined the community and uncancelled the mod alongside a few other people...only to get outed again, leaving the mod cancelled for good.
  • HassenX Animations, one of the composers for the mod, was booted from the team following controversies surrounding him, with every song he had worked on being scrapped or planned to be remade.
• What Could Have Been: Following the revival, basically everything previously planned would end up being scrapped, with only Duke, Chaotix, Chotix and Majin being planned to return (and even then, all four ended up having complete sprite and song overhauls).
