• Extremely Lengthy Creation: The game was announced in 2016 with a planned release of late 2018, then delayed to 2019, then delayed again to 2020, with the first gameplay trailer releasing in that year, before finally being released in February 2021. The game developers even noted how much work they were putting into a sexy puzzle game.
• The Other Darrin: Jessie from the first game, and Brooke, Candace, Lillian, Sarah, and Zoey from HunieCam Studio, all have new voice actresses in this game. Jessie's VA change is notable considering she was originally going to be voiced by Amanda Berning, who played her in the first game and HunieCam Studio, but who was replaced by Morgan Laure in the final release.
• The Other Marty: The development team put out a video in 2019 that featured the voice actors of all the girls in the game (except for the Nymphojinn). That video has since been removed, probably because several of the girls changed voice actors for the final game. More specifically, Jessie, Zoey, and Ashley have gotten different voice actresses from the ones listed in that video.
• Production Posse: In addition to the actors listed under Role Reprise, some voice actors from the original HuniePop whose characters don't make a return take on very different roles in the follow-ups:
  • Sarah Weidenheft (Celeste in the original, Lailani in Studio and 2).
  • Skyler Davenport (Nikki in the original and Studio, Sarah in 2).
• Role Reprise:
  • Kira Buckland and Jaclyn Aimee return as Lola and Kyu, respectively, making them the only characters to have the same voice actor in all three games.
  • Samantha Brentmoor and Sarah Weidenheft return as Nora and Lailani, respectively, after voicing them in HunieCam Studio. They're the only two voice actors from the spin-off to play the same character in 2.
• Shrug of God: Polly's gender and the implications of choosing "innie" or "outie" and the "glitch" that causes the Huniebee not to register her at first. The developer states she is whatever the player wants her to be.
• What Could Have Been: Zoey was an outspoken anti-capitalist in earlier drafts, as heard in the aforementioned voice actress video. In the final release she's a quiet and wise Cloud Cuckoo Lander.
  • In the Art Collection, included are unused assets for would-be returning characters Nikki and Audrey. Nikki's design leans into the streamer storyline from HunieCam, while Audrey's default outfit has a Christian aesthetic.
