Trivia / HIGHSPEED Étoile

• Anime First: An anime original. While the tie-in manga HIGHSPEED Étoile: L'Entrée de Towa et Kanata did start serialization in November 2023 before the anime started in April 2024, it's a spin-off and not an adaptation.
• Defictionalization: Of sorts: the anime inspired a tie-in promotional team, HIGHSPEED Étoile Racing. The two racers, Kotomi Maeda and Ai Shimizu, both women, will compete in the KYOJO-CUP, Fuji Champion Race, and the EV-GP in Japan in the 2024 season. While intended to promote the anime, HIGHSPEED Étoile Racing also was formed to promote women as active participants in motorsports.
