• Cast the Runner-Up: Because the filmmakers weren't sure whether Ashley Laurence would reprise her role as Kirsty, Sarah-Jane Redmond was tentatively planned to play the part. When Laurence did commit to the film, the filmmakers were nevertheless so impressed with Redmond that she was cast as Gwen.
