  • All three members of SPARTAN-II Red Team have changed voice actors between Halo Wars 1 and 2.
  • Sergeant Avery Johnson is voiced by an uncredited actor instead of David Scully, due to the latter being involved in the 2016-2017 video game voice actor strike at the time.
• What Could Have Been: After the release of Awakening the Nightmare, a member of the art team revealed several pieces of concept art which clearly suggested that a DLC adding the Prometheans in some capacity had been considered, but was passed over due to the Flood being more iconic.
