• Cut Song: An odd example due to the Alternate Continuity of song lists in the play to begin with. The soundtrack for the film and the film itself contain different song lists. See the main page for details.
• Disowned Adaptation: Gerome Ragni and James Rado expressed disappointment to the 1979 film, feeling that the hippies were turned into "oddballs" with the overall peace movement not being the focus of the film compared to the musical, to the point that they go as far as to say a true film adaptation of Hair has never been produced yet.

  • Bear in the Big Blue House: In "Rockin' Rocko", the film is spoofed as "Hare", and Bear takes the residents of the Big Blue House, plus Pip and Pop's cousin Rocko to the Woodland Valley Cinema to see it.
