Trivia / Gobliiins

• What Could Have Been:
  • Gobliiins originally had the heroes look for a princess's pet caterpillar. One big puzzle would have had them trying to bake a giant cake.
  • Gobliins 2 originally was supposed to have Fingus and Winkle as rivals, one clearly good and the other clearly evil. However, each would be controlled by the player and despite going on their own puzzles, they would influence the other's side and inadvertently help both of them advance to the next level. The idea was considered too complicated by Gilhodes, and he simply had Fingus and Winkle as straight-up partners.
• Word of God: Gilhodes was afraid he didn't have the rights for the original Gobliiins characters anymore, which is why he renamed them in Gobliiins 4.
