• Creator Backlash: The band doesn't look fondly at it. The only reason they haven't deleted it is because they don't own the rights to it; even so, they still exclude it from their official discographies. They have mentioned, however, that part of their dissatisfaction is with the saccharine string arrangements forced on the songs by Executive Meddling; they presented demo versions of some of the songs on the first Archives box set that they said were closer to their actual artistic vision.
• Post-Release Retitle: Jonathan King gave the album many retitles over the years as he constantly reissued it. These include In the Beginning, The Silent Sun, Where the Sour Turns to Sweet, The Original Album, Into Wonderland, and generic titles taken from reissue series like Rock Roots and Gigantes del Pop. Some releases even make the record a Self-Titled Album.
