• Actor Allusion: Ara Celi plays Santanico Pandemonium, a Mexican vampire princess. She has previously appeared as an Incan mummy princess in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
• What Could Have Been: The original ending of the movie was actually meant to end in everyone dying with Johnny and Ambrose going down in a Bolivian Army Ending which would explain The Stinger at the end of movie. Though this was changed for some reason (likely due to keep up tradition of the previous movies) and just makes the Stinger come off as rather weird.
