  • Accidentally-Correct Writing: As the plane is rapidly plummeting to the ground, Bugs makes loud, rapid screams of panic. That apparently originated as a studio in-joke, but real-life rabbits really do scream rapidly when they're distressed. And it's not so much "goofy shouting" as "blood-curdling shrieking."
  • DVD Commentary: Animators Bill Melendez (the voice of Snoopy, who worked on the cartoon) and John Kricfalusi (who is Bob Clampett's biggest fan and protege) provided a commentary track for the film on Looney Tunes Golden Collection Vol. 3.
  • Working Title: "Bugs Bunny and the Gremlin". It was changed when Walt Disney made plans for a Gremlin feature film and asked other studios to avoid making Gremlin films. This short was too far into production, so they simply changed the title. Something similar happened to Clampett's other gremlin cartoon, "Russian Rhapsody" (initially titled "Gremlins from the Kremlin").
