• Actor-Inspired Element:
  • Park Eun-bin was the one to suggest Young-woo eat gimbap that her father made vertically while eating gimbap others made horizontally as she trusts her father but needs to make sure food provided by unfamiliar people doesn't contain ingredients she doesn't like.
  • Joo Hyun-young came up with the greeting Geu-ra-mi and Young-woo exchange on the show. Writer Moon Ji-won had scripted the two characters using cutesy nicknames to greet each other but was unhappy with what was on the page and asked Joo to think of an alternative.
• Blooper: Young-woo won't wear clothes with even a trace of labels but is shown putting on a coat with labels clearly still attached in one episode.
• Dawson Casting: Government documents in "The Pied Piper" show that Bang Gu-ppong was born in 1997, meaning the character was in his early 20s at the time the episode is set. Koo Kyo-hwan, the actor who plays him, was born in 1982.
• Schedule Slip:
  • The show was supposed to go into production for a 2021 release, but Park Eun-bin, the creators' first and only choice for Young-woo was hesitant to sign on. Instead of casting someone else, everything was put on hold for a year to give Park time to change her mind.
  • Despite the show's huge popularity, Season 2 won't be released until 2024 because Kang Tae-oh, who plays Lee Jun-ho, has to complete his mandatory conscription in the Korean military and is unavailable for shooting.
