Trivia / Ellen's Energy Adventure

• Christmas Rushed: During the period between the closing of the original Universe of Energy and this ride, the original ride had to reopen to absorb the summer crowds of 1996 as World of Motion had been closed to begin its unintentional three-year conversion into Test Track, and Horizons was on a sporadic operating schedule, and the new Universe of Energy films were behind schedule, meaning that without Universe of Energy, Wonders of Life would've been the only pavilion open in Future World East. The result was the show playing with toned down effects of the original films, and deactivated effects of the upcoming version playing side by side.
• Dummied Out: Near the end of its run, Ellen's animatronic vanished from the ride. The elasmosaur that once attacked her attacked nothing for a few months before also being removed, with a pteranodon standing on its spot towards the end of the attraction's run.
• Mythology Gag: During the Jeopardy! Thinking Music sequence, Johnny Gilbert states "Energy, you make the world go round!" This is the name of the song in the original ride's pre-show.
