• Development Gag: When Kennedy's mom says Kennedy will message Kayla on Facebook, Kennedy scoffs and dismissively says, "No one uses Facebook anymore!" This is a reference to how Burnham's original script actually did have the kids using Facebook as their preferred social media platform — until the younger actors informed him, several times, that Facebook was long since out of fashion among the teens-and-younger crowd and was associated with old people. The script was changed to have them use the more timely Instagram and Snapchat instead.
