- Creator Backlash: Tobi is not fond of their early material, and thus none of the songs from Kingdom of Madness or The Savage Poetry are ever performed live. Savage Poetry itself is so swept under the rug by the band that they officially consider Kingdom of Madness, the sophomore record, the "official" debut album.
- The Pete Best: Dominick Storch, the original drummer for the band, who left in 1997, joined a band called Vex, and has done little of note since. This is an especially notable example since the only other lineup change in the band's history came a year later when Tobias Exxel was brought in to play bass so that Tobias Sammet could sing full time.
