• Word of God: A popular fan theory that sprung up after the episode aired was that Webby let herself get tied up by Goldie due to either the awe of seeing a legendary figure from Scrooge's past or being a Shipper on Deck for her and Scrooge. Word of God latter revealed that Goldie legitimately captured Webby as a result of the girl being unprepared for Goldie's dirty fighting style and cunning.
