• Actor-Shared Background: Tien and Chiaotzu are stated to be Jewish in the special (Tien will celebrate Christmas because he wants to be multicultural, and Chiaotzu doesn't celebrate the holiday at all). Both Marc Soskin and Corrine Sudberg are Jewish and half-Jewish respectively.
• Creator's Favorite: Lanipator mentions that Vegeta3986 was a big fan of Turles, the main villain of the movie.
• Creator's Favorite Episode: Lanipator mentioned that Tree of Might was his introduction to the franchise before getting into the series proper (he started the actual series from the Garlic Jr. Saga, and went back to watch the previous episodes), which Lani notes that both ways were the worst way to start watching Dragon Ball. Despite his apathy towards the movie, he came up with the idea of "Christmas Tree of Might," where he loved the idea so much that he called KaiserNeko three times to turn the movie into a Christmas special, where he had a lot of fun writing it.
• What Could Have Been: There was originally a Neighborhood Cluck version of the movie when Lanipator, MasakoX, and Vegeta3986 were part of the trio before moving on with Team Four Star. Lani doesn't remember the detail, but he remembered they originally planned to adapt the movie before this movie special was made, with some jokes recycled from the old script making it into Christmas Tree of Might, such as the Oolong watching the forest fire.
