- Blooper: On page 2, Greg says "How can Matt can stand it?", when it should say "How can Matt stand it?". Strangely, this was not fixed in either the reprint or ebook.
- Tuckerization: The older sister Pamela was likely named after R.L. Stine's real life sister of the same name.
