Trivia / Doman: Sins of Ardan

• Throw It In!: During the development as they were working on implementing the crossbow as a weapon, the programmer drew Doman brandishing a modern rifle for shits and giggles. This would later serve as a basis for the cheat code.
• What Could Have Been: At first, the developers went for splitting character sprites into two parts, the upper bodies (that would wield various weapons) and lower bodies, so they could have used the same full weapon set on the land and on water (where their leg sprites would've been replaced by ripple sprites), but they were unable to get around the synchronisation issues, so they ended up having character sprites comprise of full bodies.
  • The game as a whole began development as a short story. Said otherwise unpublished novella is included alongside the copies of the game.
