Trivia / Doctor Who S29 E9 "The Family of Blood"

• Completely Different Title: The French title is "Smith, la Montre et le Docteur" (Smith, the Fob Watch and the Doctor) while "The Family of Blood" has been directly translated as the title of the preceding episode.
• What Could Have Been: Originally, the narration of each of the Family's fates by the Doctor was originally told by Sister of Mine (who had the least amount of dialogue of the family), and ending with her punishment of being trapped in every mirror’s reflection. In the actual episode, this role is given to Son of Mine, presumably because of his more central role in the story and having a better transition between the Doctor leaving him stuck as a scarecrow and returning to Martha and the TARDIS.
