• Dolled-Up Installment: Before Silk became Didnapper 2, the developers stated that a Didnapper sequel would begin production after Silk was released. However, due to how similar Silk was to the original Didnapper theme and tone-wise, it was decided to turn Silk into Didnapper 2.
• Schedule Slip: In 2018, it was stated that they projected that the full release would be in mid-to-late 2019, then to mid-to-late 2020. The game did finally release in December, 2021.
• What Could Have Been: The game was originally announced as Silk and was about a female pirate that kidnapped a noble girl for ransom. However, as fate would have it, circumstances would force them to work together to survive and escape from other pirates and slavers looking for them.
