• Orphaned Reference:
  • In the original game, Defect betraying Kaptain Korg and seizing power was a critical plot point. In the second game, as the Defect Police have been Demoted to Extra, this scene is removed entirely, and it isn't clear just how Defect got from the Soldier stage to the Justice stage anymore.
  • In the second game, most dialogue relating to Defect's psychic powers are removed, but the lyrics of the Lover stage still contain references to reading minds and healing scars.
• Posthumous Credit: The Fertiliser is the only character to not change voices between both games, despite Ian Dury passing away in 2000, fifteen years before the second game's release. His lines from the first are reused.
